Privacy Policy

This explains what HumanTalky collects when you use the AI detector, humanizer, fix list and watermark cleaner, and what we do with it.

The text you paste

• Fix list, watermark cleaner and quick scan statistics: the cleaner and fix list run in your browser. The text does not leave your device.
• Scan, deep scan, humanizer, voice profile: the text is sent to our server to produce your result. We do not store it after the result is returned.
• AI providers: deep scans, rewrites and voice profiles are processed by Anthropic (Claude). If we offer a second AI model for rewrites and you choose it, your text is sent to that provider instead for that rewrite. We do not sell your text.
• Voice profiles: if you create one while signed in, we save the writing samples you provide and the style guide made from them until you delete the profile.
• Share links: if you press "Create share link", we save that text and its report for 30 days so anyone with the link can open it. After 30 days the link stops working, and a clean-up job that runs when the server starts and every 6 hours blanks the saved text.
• Feedback: rating a result sends only the rating, the score you saw and the page. Your text is saved only if you tick the box to share it. Messages you type in the feedback box are saved. Text you chose to share with feedback is removed after 90 days.
• Uploads: .docx and .pdf files are read in memory to extract their text and are not stored.

Your account and usage

• If you sign up we store your email, name (if given), a hashed password and your plan.
• We record each metered action (deep scan, rewrite, voice build) with its word count and a one-way hash of your network address, to enforce daily limits and prevent abuse. We cannot read the original address from the hash.
• Signed-in visits use a session cookie. We remember your cookie choice in your browser.
• Analytics run only if you accept cookies and the site has analytics switched on.

Who we share data with

Our hosting provider, the AI providers above (only for the actions that need them), and our payment provider once paid plans launch. We do not sell personal data or use your pasted text to train our own models unless you tick the share box on a result.

Keeping and deleting

Account data is kept while your account exists. Saved voice profiles are deleted when you delete them. Shared reports expire after 30 days. Text shared with feedback is removed after 90 days (the rating itself is kept). To have anything of yours removed, email the address below.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. HumanTalky is not meant for children under 13.
